Today we had an introductory meeting on passive house and then we had a safety meeting to be better prepared for the build site. Then to get ready to build at the state fair we moved all the wall sections and models that we designed and built in the spring semester to the loading bay outside our architecture department. The moving truck was not there yet and I was imedently moved to a storage facility to move wood siding and scrap 2×4 and 2×6 wood (that was previously dismantled from and old 1950′s barn) that we will use on our building. The six of us got the scrap 2×4 and 2×6 wood on the truck but to keep the wood siding in one pice my comrades made a wood holder but as they were building this it started to rain. The project can only go up from here…right?

Anyways we made an assembly line and moved the rest of the wood on the moving truck, in the rain, and rushed back to finished dismantledthe displays. Then when the moving truck got to the school we loaded it five feet tall with our things and called it a night.
